Robert Whiteford the first Scot to fight in the Octagon is not the only man supremely confident he will be a success story on the sport's biggest stage. 

Sports Therapy Scotland have been working with Robert for several years helping to ensure he stays in condition , helping to minimize the risk of injury and be on hand when the occasion arises to treat and advise accordingly following any injury.

Chimera MMA Academy, based in Stirling, incorporates a mixture of various martial arts including Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, Muay Thai Boxing,TaeKwon Do and Submission Wrestling to form an advanced fighting system. The Chimera MMA Academy has the premier facilities for MMA in Stirling city center.Our facilities are located at the Boathouse Gym in Riverside, Stirling and is fully equipped with matted floors with a wide array of training equipment to allow full training in the various martial arts that Chimera MMA incorporates.

Sports Therapy Scotland will be official suppliers of Sports Therapists and Physiotherapists to the Scottish Masters Football Event on Sunday 12th June 2011 , Braehead Arena Glasgow.

There will be four of the “guys” from the team and we will be looking after the players and the Referees. From pre event massage, taping ,mobilising  and being   pitch side  during each game. 

 We are not sure which players will be involved yet but will keep you updated when names are announced. Criteria to play is over 35 years old.Makes me feel kind of old if that is masters age bracket!


 

Sports Therapy Scotland is delighted to Sponsor Paul McVeigh, MMA Bantamweight world champion and contestant for The Ultimate Fighter (TUF) trials in New Jersey.

 

 Sports Therapy Scotland  is looking forward to being involved for the second season as provider of Sports Therapists and Physiotherapists looking after The Braehead Clan.The Clan will play in the Elite League Ice Hockey League against teams such as Belfast Giants, Cardiff Devils and the Newcastle Vipers. First competitive home game of the 2011 season will be around beginning of October 2011.

Sports Therapy Scotland currently supplies Fitness Consultants and Graduate Sports Therapist to IKMS (Institute of Krav Maga Scotland).

 

Sports Therapy Scotland has been working closely with Richard and Chris from EZ SPORTS for over a year.

EZ Sports supply nutritional supplements for the clients of Sports Therapy Scotland and are always available for friendly, knowledgeable advice on all aspects of sports nutrition.

We are pleased to be involved in a national initiative awards scheme in which most secondary year pupils in Britain have access to.

 

Perth and Kinross CouncilSports Therapy Scotland has been providing First Aid Training for the secondary pupils participating in The Sports Trust Awards for 2 years ,and looks forward to this partnership assisting the pupils with attaining their awards. 

 

Sport Therapy Scotland has been involved in delivering Fist Aid to pupils participating in the Sports Trust Sports Leaders Award.

Sports Therapy Scotland also provides  community coaches throughout Fife with First Aid Training.
